The Alabama Alliance for Arts Education (AAAE) and the Alabama Arts Advocacy Commission (AAAC) will present Celebrating Alabama ARTS, a festive evening honoring Alabamians who have made a difference in the Arts. The event takes place on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, 6 p.m. at the Capital City Club, 201 Monroe St., Montgomery. Hors d’oeuvres & a cash bar will be available. Tickets are $50 in advance, $75 at the door.
Honorees include Al Head, Executive Director, Alabama State Council on the Arts (Alabama Arts Legacy Award); Martha Lockett, Executive Director, Arts Revive, Selma (Alabama Making a Difference Award ); and Deri K. Grissett, Director of Music, Bands and Programs, Bellingrath School, Montgomery (Alabama Impact Award).
